Easy Shrimp Fried Rice

I have to give credit to my BFF for introducing me to the Vegetable Fried Rice from Trader Joe's. It is sooooooo good! You can find it on the frozen section and I highly recommend you buy multiple bags because this recipe will be a great go to on those busy school nights. I like shrimp in my fried rice but you could easily bake some chicken tenders or pork tenderloins and add instead of shrimp. Let me know how your fried rice turns out and if you plan on adding it to the dinner time rotation.

Serves 4

2 bags of Traders Joes Vegetable Fried Rice

1 bag of frozen raw shrimp

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 of red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

2 tablespoons of olive oil- per bag

  1. Heat olive oil on high heat in wok

  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook garlic until tender.

  3. Add salt and peppered shrimp to wok and cook until pink

  4. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  5. Add frozen rice to wok with four tablespoons of oil and cook until rice is heated through.

  6. Add cooked shrimp back into the wok and serve immediately.
