Ingredients Needed to Make the Buffalo Sauce
1⁄2 cup louisiana hot sauce or 1⁄2 cup Frank's red hot sauce
1 stick of butter
Ingredients Needed for the Shrimp
1⁄2 teaspoon of paprika
1⁄4 teaspoon of black pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Oil, for deep-frying
24 large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup of milk
2 cups of flour
Directions to Make the Hooters Buffalo
Combine in a small saucepan over medium heat until butter is mixed through.
Cover and keep warm over low heat.
Directions to Make the Fried Shrimp
Combine the egg and milk in a small bowl. Set aside.
Place flour and seasonings in a large gallon-size zip-lock bag.
Coat the shrimp with egg mixture, then toss them in the bag with the flour mixture and shake well to coat. Transfer to a plate until all the shrimp are coated.
Refrigerate for about 5 minutes while your deep fryer heats up to 375°F.
Deep-fry at 375°F for about 8-10 minutes until shrimp are golden brown.
Drain on a paper towel. Transfer to a tupperware container and pour the prepared Buffalo sauce on the shrimp. Cover with Tupperware lid and shake the container until the shrimp are well coated. Serve with lemon wedges and ranch dressing and enjoy!
